Our Mission

JUMC is a family of believers, learning to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.  We serve God by worshipping God, learning God’s word, caring for each other, and reaching out to all.  It’s our mission to invite all people into the family of Christ, and to provide ways for them to grow in faith, and to serve Christ.

Sunday services are traditional, but casual.  Eleanor Ott (organist/pianist) leads the Jefferson Choir at each service.  Children are especially welcome.  At about 9:15am, children through grade 5 will be invited to Sunday School following the Children’s Sermon.  Nursery Care is available.

CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP, Saturdays at 7:00pm

While retaining the focus on worship, our Saturday evening services feature  live contemporary music, and multimedia to enhance the worship experience.  Communion is offered at every contemporary service.
