Projects & Missions
The Jefferson United Methodist Women are one of the most active groups at JUMC and are deeply involved in special issues and community action.
We try to understand God in our lives, study the scriptures and explore what it means in today's world. We strive to accomplish this through involvement in a variety of projects and missions. We are funded through member pledges, the local Ruritan and sale of various items (including the wonderful knives for which we are well known!).
Membership is open to any woman who desires to belong. We invite anyone interested to join us at one of our meetings, held the 3rd Monday of every other month (see the JUMC calendar for details).
